About myself:

Born in Rotan, Texas and raised in Brekinridge, Texas, I grew up playing multiple sports. As a baseball player I was a five time little league all star pitcher/short stop, as well as becoming the runner up for the Texas Little League World Series Team. While playing basketball I was a six time little league all star  point gaurd. I helped guide the team to the little league regional playoff. In football, I was given the Rotan "Yellow Hammer Back Award" for the most rushing yards in one season. I have been running competitively since the age of 5yrs and have always enjoyed running middle distance events. In the 7th grade I was a Junior Olympic qualifier in the 800m. During my High School Years I received the "Outstanding Freshman Award" and this pumped up my excitement for track. My events included the 400m (district champ, regional champ, and state qualifer), 800m (4Xdistrict champ, 2X regional champ, and state qualifier), 1600m (district champ), and 1600m relay (3X district champ, 3X regional champ, and state qualifier). During cross country I was awarded the "Runner's Golden Shoe Award".
